Why PowerSlave Exhumed is a Damn Near Perfect Remaster

Just so you know: For the first 10 days within launch of this video, PowerSlave Exhumed is 10% OFF over on GOG.com here: https://af.gog.com/redeem/RagnarExhumed?as=1628879817 _______ MONSTERS OF THE WEEK: PowerSlave Exhumed #PowerSlaveExhumed #PowerSlaveReview #MonstersOfTheWeek PowerSlave was, in my humble opinion, one of the most overlooked, and super influential Boomer Classic Shooters of the Build-Engine era. The game was developed by Lobotomy Software and released in two completely different versions for PC and consoles (PlayStation and Sega Saturn). Where the PC version was your standard, run-off-the-mill "doom-clone" shooter, where you traversed linear levels with the odd door-key puzzle, the console versions offered fully polygonal 3D environments with open-ended Metroidvania-style traversal a good deal before Symphony of the Night came out. With PowerSlave Exhumed, Nightdive has beautifully remastered this overlooked and underrated classic shooter gem with a skillful merging of the best-of-both-worlds of both console versions. It's a damn near perfect remaster and a great and rare example of how video game preservations should be done.
