The cloud forests in Colombia are a unique and lush ecosystem where five species of wild cats rule the terrain and ancient tree species that evolved alongside dinosaurs still exist. But this unique ecosystem is under threat. It's being cleared for cattle pastures, a practice dating back to colonial times. In our 38th mission, we partnered with Fundación Magnolios and Ecosia to build a nature reserve and protect this ecosystem. By purchasing this land, we’re finally allowing the forest to do what it does best: regenerate. Because of the moist air, the ecosystem bounces back with incredible speed (faster than anywhere else on Earth).
