Deckard Slate teaser
This demo shows real-time relighting and shadowing on #GaussianSplats.
Adjust lights and get near-instant feedback — you can cast accurate shadows and relight an entire Gaussian Splat scene. This is especially useful for:
• Location scouting and scene visualization
• Camera blocking and pre-visualization
• Testing lighting, looks, and optics
A practical tool for Directors of Photography and anyone working in previs or production. We’ve also expanded import support:
• SPZ (up to version 4) @Scaniverse
• Standard PLY (Trying to make it compatible with all Ply files, with or without Spherical Harmonics)
• GOP @playcanvas
• Full LCC2 projects@XGRIDS
There’s also a simple FBX importer so you can combine traditional 3D assets with Gaussian Splat scenes. Are there any other Gaussian Splat formats you’d like to see supported? Drop them in the comments.
After years of research in rendering and Gaussian Splats, I’m bringing it all into one focused application — for turning splat scenes into high-quality videos, supporting movie pre-viz and production, and serving as a guidance/authoring tool for #AI video generation.
A beta is coming soon.
Message me if you’d like to join the beta program, try it out, and help shape the future of the tool.
