When I was a child, we had The Best of Enya (1997) album on tape. I used to imagine amazing stories, adventurous and mysterious, about the songs on that album. And specifically this song was haunting me more than any other.
I always felt like it tells a story about ancient magic and fires in the dark, even though Boadicea (or Boudicca) was actually a leader of celtic uprising during the Roman empire. So with my poor cinematographic skills I tried to create a video that would resemble my imagined stories. In that field, I failed miserably :D But I still quite like the outcome since I love watching fire.
The substance I used for the magic with the torch was magnesium dust :)
(And if you actually read descriptions, you are awesome and I owe you a cookie.)
Audio was created with 11 tracks of my voice and a backtrack made in Sibelius (I used the synth sound called FX4 - Atmosphere)
