Hawkins Power & Light | Official Teaser (A Stranger Things Story)

"HAWKINS POWER & LIGHT - A Stranger Things Story" releases on our channel on August 1st, 2026! An original Stranger Things story by Jaccob Snow. To commemorate the release of Season 5 of Stranger Things -- marking almost a full decade of the show -- we're producing a standalone Stranger Things story set during the events of season 1, in November of 1983. After Will Byers goes missing, a group of friends happens upon X-03, an escaped lab patient with the unique ability to harness electrical energy. I grew up on Stranger Things, and it's one of the reasons I'm going into filmmaking and visual effects as my career. I've loved the show ever since I first saw it at the age of 11, and I wrote the first draft of this script 6 years ago. It's since been revised to hell and back, and I'm so excited to say that it's almost done! We hope to release it around the end of the year.
