This restoration was on what I believe to be a 1920s American Counter made by F.D. Redington Co. of Chicago, USA. These machines were popular on printing presses in order to count how many copies were made. You can find the original 1906 patent here: https://patents.google.com/patent/US900954A/en?oq=US900954A A fairly simple restoration with only a few worn and broken parts (which were my fault) that needed some attention. Oddly, most of the machine seems to be copper-plated for some reason. I plan on using this in the shop to count how many restoration videos I've done on this channel. You can check out the products from them used in this video in the link below: https://www.crcindustries.com/handtoolrescue Wrenches, screwdrivers, and socket drivers are now for sale at https://www.handtoolrescue.com/ Watch narrated videos and help secure more tools for future videos (if you want): https://www.patreon.com/handtoolrescue
