Unity 7 is back! ...and it looks a hell of a lot like Unity 7 did before. ;) Announced at Unite Seoul 2026, the Unity roadmap was updated and Unity 7 is coming soon. This is the release everyone is waiting for, as it announces the arrival of Unity CoreCLR (aka, modern .NET). Also, you can basically just think of Unity 7 as Unity 6.8. In this video we look at what we can expect of Unity in the near future leading up to the release of Unity 7.
