The GameMaker game engine is more or less going FREE! What does more or less mean? Well, so long as you use the new GMRT runtime (which if you were starting a new project, you would probably be doing), you will be able to create and ship commercial games in GameMaker for Desktop, Mobile and Web... completely free! There are a few caveats that we cover in this video.
