The free and open source Stride 3D game engine just got a major upgrade with the release of Stride 4.4. The first major release in almost a year the delay is well justified. In 4.4 Linux and Mac users have a lot to love as building on those platforms has been brought up to par with Windows. The renderers were also rewritten with Vulkan and DirectX 12 now being the primary option. There is also the addition of a CLI tool, progress on Linux editor support and more in this jam packed release. *GFS Link* - https://gamefromscratch.com/stride-4-4-released/ *Check Out Synty Pass:* - https://syntystore.com/npohgr ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Support* : https://www.patreon.com/gamefromscratch *GameDev News* : https://gamefromscratch.com *GameDev Tutorials* : https://devga.me *Discord* : https://discord.com/invite/R7tUVbD *Twitter* : https://twitter.com/gamefromscratch *BlueSky*: https://bsky.app/profile/gamefromscratch.bsky.social -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
