Godot Company W4 Games Receives HUGE Tencent Investment
W4Games, the commercial Godot Engine company founded by several of the leaders of the open source Godot Foundation, has just received a massive investment of $18M+ from Tencent Games, the same Tencent that owns a large stake in Epic Games/Unreal Engine. In addition to the investment, there was also an announced partnership to bring Godot and W4 Games products to Asian markets.
