The awesome Defold game engine just added a major feature to it's feature set... console support... all of them! Now you can develop games using the Defold engine for the Xbox consoles, this joins existing support for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5. This means you can develop for all the major consoles completely free! That said, they are still consoles, so there are NDAs, devkits and other hoops to jump through of course.
