Bohemia Interactive have just released the source code and game engine for their first game - ARMA Cold War Assault (originally called Operation Flashpoint). Not only that but the source code was all modernized to run on modern hardware, on both Windows and Linux as part of the remaster. Though the engine source code "Poseidon" is 20 years old at this point, the engine has been adapted through the years, becoming Real Virtuality, then eventually the modern Enfusion engine. https://gamefromscratch.com/arma-game-game-engine-source-released/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Support* : https://www.patreon.com/gamefromscratch *GameDev News* : https://gamefromscratch.com *GameDev Tutorials* : https://devga.me *Discord* : https://discord.com/invite/R7tUVbD *Twitter* : https://twitter.com/gamefromscratch *BlueSky*: https://bsky.app/profile/gamefromscratch.bsky.social -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
