AppLovin have just launched a lawsuit against Unity and like many jilted ex's, are looking for a temporary restraining order. These too companies are what you might call "frenemies", in that in some way they depend on each other's ecosystems and work together... in others they are direct competitors and fight viciously. This lawsuit is accusing Unity of stealing AppLovin user data with their new product Ad Quality, and using it to train their data models. Unity responds with... actually, a hell of a lot of snark and sarcasm if I am honest. It was a refreshingly human response, not something you normally see in a legal battle like this.
