A little over a month ago, I released a long conversation I had with Cliff Harris on his multi-decade experience of working in the games industry.
Throughout the conversation he shared lots of his thoughts on the best way to market games as an indie and more importantly some of the lessons he's learned from his time working at Elixir and Lionhead about how to talk about your game to make it compelling.
This video condenses that discussion down into highlights from the conversation and hopefully provides a set of things to consider when you're marketing your game. How you should talk about it, what kind of things you should aim to say to get people interested, and ultimately what kind of game you should be trying to get people excited about in the first place.
