Epic family road trip in New Mexico and Colorado

Please support us and subscribe. Thanks! It is hard to be an immigrant, especially when your family is thousands of miles away and you can meet them only once in couple years... When we have a chance to see each other, we always do something very special. We made amazing road trip around New Mexico & Colorado. We traveled 4029 miles with my family, including two little kids (3 years and 22 months old). We spent 24 days in the wilderness, 20 nights camping under the tent. What an incredible adventure. We hiked in the mountains, climbed the rocks, explored the deep canyons (kids were testing the echo, pretty funny), even visited supervolcano, loved the waterfalls, falls, rivers, lakes, forests, meadows, with those elks, bighorn sheeps and marmots everywhere. During the nights, we observed thousands and thousands of stars, even Milky Way. I had an extreme adventure at the top of New Mexico - Wheeler Peak (13,161 feet / 4,011 m). Trail was very icy, sometimes very deep snow (I went 3 feet under the surface which was exhausting). When I was 200 meters under the peak storm quickly approached so I tried to run to the top (I didn't want to give up so close). Well, not a good idea in this height - couldn't breath and felt dizzy. Then it started to snow… I will always remember how our kids (poor Texans) saw the snow and ice for the first time in their lives! The moment when they realized it is cold, wet and slippery was priceless :) We loved seeing the joy when kids were exploring the ancient indian pueblos. And on top of that, their grandparents and my brother could enjoy them too (for the first time ever).
