"NEON-DADDY" | Retro 80's Animated Short Film [2019]

Created by David James Armsby. https://www.facebook.com/davidarmsbyartist/ In a neon-drenched nightmare city, one former Cop tries to reconcile with his estranged son. The Cop abandoned his city and abandoned his son after a tragic accident took his wife's life. As he replaced more and more of his humanity with cold steel, the city did the same. Bright rural sunshine has become dark, neon night-sky. With what little humanity he has left, the Cop must plead his son's forgiveness. This short film is dumb. It's colourful and garish and over the top. It's inspired by action/sci-fi movies of the 80's and it's a massive change of style and pace for me. This was one of the hardest projects I've ever worked on and I really hope you guys enjoy this odd little creation of mine. I love it's weird, stupid, heart-warming and disgusting personality! ^_^ MAKING OF: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-tvFxc7AnY&feature=youtu.be The soundtrack to this short was created by Paulo Estero!
