Making Of | "SCARY and STRANGE"

Created by David James Armsby. https://www.facebook.com/davidarmsbyartist/ This is a behind-the-scenes video to accompany my recent animated short film, "Scary and Strange". This video covers my creative process and my ideas behind the art and themes. This short film is more so a really introspective look into myself than most of my others. It's about the dangers of overly romanticising your depression and your problems and using it as a creative resource. I don't think that's a bad thing in concept, but it can be extremely unhealthy if done improperly. Hope you guys enjoy this making of. It was a weird one to make and now that it's out of the way, I've officially started working on a long-awaited project I'm sure all of you will be excited to hear about. No spoilers, though. ^_^ Songs: StoneOcean - "Rainboots" StoneOcean - "Soulwisp" StoneOcean - "The Message" https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6INY0ZZK7WRee2t7x2uqIA Voice actors: "Emily" - Adrienne Cox https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHaVXXowlztJHlQX1SQnSxA "Father" - Cougar MacDowall https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYL0au6V77nHEhVP9kUMwlQ "Mother" - Kirie Quackenbush http://www.dreamstorypodcast.com http://digitalkirie.com SCARY AND STRANGE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Cik9-3qsPY SUPPORT ME ON PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/davidarmsby
