It's been 3 movies in 3 years since Dan Trachtenberg took the reigns of the Predator franchise and he's reinvigorated it with Prey, Killer of Killers and his latest, Predator: Badlands. He joined us for My Best Shots to talk about all 3, plus the San Diego Comic-Con mishap that left out the best shot from his iconic short film, Portal: No Escape, the surprising classic film that inspired the visuals of 10 Cloverfield Lane, how he and his cinematographer break down scripts to their bare essentials in prep and the most badass opening shot to any movie that he can think of.
