Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul & The X-Files | Vince Gilligan Breaks Down His Most Iconic Shots
Vince Gilligan has created some of the greatest television of all time in no small part thanks to striking visuals and unique cinematography. From his first professional directing gig working with Mulder, Scully and a genie on The X-Files, through his all-time great tale of a regular guy turned drug kingpin in Breaking Bad and the continuation of that world with Bob Odenkirk and Better Call Saul, Gilligan breaks down his signature style and his most memorable shots. We talk about how he almost backed out of his first time directing, the massive lens he needed to pull off a tiny shot and the anger he felt at seeing a trailer with a shot that wasn't even in the movie!
