Album "Krása" OUT NOW! This week is in memory of the Warsaw Pact invasion in Prague which started on 20.08.1968. Unfortunately the wordings Moscow used back then, explaining the invasion, resemble dangerously the wordings Moscow uses up to this date in their explanation on why they invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Maybe that’s why there has been a stronger and more emotive connection to the events of the last year and half from some of my pals and acquaintances in Czechia. One of them is an amazing director Amálie Kovářová who connected me with Paměť Národa and introduced me to the amazing work they do every day! - they gather and deliver protective and medical supplies to Ukraine so they can protect their country and democracy. If you can, it would mean the world to me and to them if you could support via - 👉 ukrajina.pametnaroda.cz 👈 ————————- For this reason we created this music video with Amálie Kovářová for my song “Se nemůže stát” (This can’t happen) This song was written during the first weeks of the invasion on Ukraine, from the perspective of a girl/woman watching the news from the metropolitan, multicultural city of Berlin, remembering that couple days earlier I was discussing with friends over a beer in a pub “this can’t happen” (the title of the song). This song ends in a rage, screaming “are you sure about that?!” I feel the rage until today, I feel it at every gig when I play this song.
