Body horror just got a DC makeover! Director James Watkins opens up about how David Cronenberg's groundbreaking 1986 classic "The Fly" shaped his vision for the upcoming "Clayface," transforming the iconic DC villain into a terrifying tale of identity and physical transformation. Discover how practical effects, existential dread, and monstrous metamorphosis inspired one of DC's most chilling films yet! Watkins draws deep parallels between Brundlefly's grotesque evolution and Clayface's shapeshifting curse, blending psychological horror with superhero storytelling in ways the DCU has never explored before. Could this be DC's boldest swing into true horror territory? Tell us what you think in the comments below!
