Fed up of the rapid end to British summer, I decided to book myself the cheapest tickets I could find, and that took my to a city in Europe that I honestly knew nothing about. There were many elements to this short city trip that I enjoyed. The friendly people. The glorious weather. The cheap beer. But what struck me most was just how clean this city was. Sure there was a bit of graffiti, and slight crumbling stone work in places....but the streets were spotless. I never once saw anyone either cleaning the streets, nor did I see any litter or anyone littering. I have travelled to so many cities and towns all over Britain and Europe, and I have never once come across a place that was this spotless.
