I had received an email from a Sunderland resident, who said he would be happy to show me round, as he had experienced the collapse of the giants of industry up there, the Mines and the Shipyards. Whilst he was aware of the ares problems, he also seems positive about the current situation of the town, so I was very excited to get up there. I have not often been to a place where so much redevelopment is actually happening, and things do look like they are changing. It is a city I cannoy wait to return to in a few years. A huge thanks to Phil for the tour, Until Next Time, W.T #abandoned #reborn #decay #industrial #highstreet
