We’re back with Episode 2… and this time we’re hitting the South (including the Midlands). The first video really struck a chord with us Brits, who spend so much of our time cruising the bleak motorways and A-roads, always searching for a quick rest and a good bite to eat… and are so often let down. The southern leg of this series took me into unknown territory. I ventured further south than I’ve ever been, and I wasn’t disappointed (well, I was—but it made for a good video) by the services I found. It was also great to end up at what’s hailed as the best service station in the South—and maybe the best overall in Britain. Do you know what it is? For the final video, I want the weird services.
