As you may all know, there are alot of changes, including a wipe. So lets go through them all: **Growth** Growth will be moved to a scaling system, we found that while the insane fast growth is lovely, it created a situation which prevented exploration or any feeling of reward, and truthfully looking at community polls over the last two months it seemed the majority of users agreed with that. We are going to move to a tiered growth system, which will make growing the biggest dinosaurs feel more rewarding but equally not feel egregious (like that of official growth rates). Passive growth will be added to the server, on a tiered basis and will be slightly less than the Velocci Survival growth settings (Velocci Survival peaks at 6-7 hours at max on passive growth for the strongest dinosaur) We will be moving to: 1 Slots: 1 Hour 2 Slots: 1 Hour 30 Mins 3 Slots: 2 Hours 4 Slots: 3 Hours 5 Slots: 4 Hours 6 Slots: 5 Hours We are then going to be reducing growth rewards from quests to be around 1.5x currently to balance things, however im looking at moving it to 2x Death Penalty will stay as it is currently, which due to the new growth rates would mean it would be slightly more penalising. POI Growth rewards have been disabled due to growth scaling being heavily bugged with it **Critters** To help make the server feel more alive, we are increasing the size of the following critters: Goniopholis Dynamosuchus Wonambi Mawsonia **World** I will be adding different stuff to certain POIs like dust storms and other interactive community objects. As for the map the community poll was in favour of Riparia staying by 54.5%, 41.6% voted Gondwa and 3.9% Voted Panjura. Riparia will stay but will switch to GONDWA in Two months time, alongside season 3 (we will start season 1 when we wipe the server) As per the poll results, the Waystone removal will also be kept for now **Seasons** We are going to be moving to a seasonal approach for the server, each month a new season rolls in, similar to the Velocci Survival seasons. These will see: Map switchouts (every other month - only official maps) New Mods Mod switchouts Changes to the world of the server. **Server Wipe** As many of you know, the saves have been wiped, all dinosaurs are now at 0, your skin unlocks are saved however. HOWEVER I will be introducing PoTBot to the server in order to setup a 5 day period post wipe where you can claim a free growth every 12 hours, meaning if you do want to, you can get a maximum of 10 grows before the bot is removed. this may change to a week instead of 5 days, I’ll make sure to announce that clearly if that changes - This will be on going until August 3rd (Monday) and will reappear as a once a month weekend event. - Please go to #💮potbot-player-hub to link your account to PoTBot - You MUST be in game to link your account.
