On Oct 26, 2026, The HU we went to the UNESCO Headquarters to be recognized for our contribution as a UNESCO Artist for Peace for promoting peace, cultural diversity and mutual respect. Through our music, we connect with fans across cultures, encouraging curiosity and understanding beyond linguistic and national boundaries. Most of all, we hope to inspire people to spread peace and be kind to one another. Through our albums and extensive world tours, we have shared the stories, sounds and traditions of Mongolia with audiences around the globe. Our performances encourage people to take pride in their own heritage while discovering and appreciating that of others. The presentation of our new album at UNESCO Headquarters offers a further opportunity to share this musical journey and to deepen our mission of spreading peace and encouraging our responsibility to one another through our music. UNESCO’s commitment to living heritage and creativity is one we take to heart. Their work demonstrates how cultural traditions can evolve. Through the power of music, we continue to promote dialogue between cultures and support UNESCO’s mission to safeguard heritage and advance mutual understanding and peace. ————— More on UNESCO: Since 1945, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has been at the forefront of international cooperation in education, science, culture, and communication.
