THE DEEP DIVE - Official "Coming Soon" Teaser

Erik Voss and New Rockstars present THE DEEP DIVE, a new channel in the New Rockstars Network, launching February 17, 2023! SUBSCRIBE! It's official: New Rockstars is expanding from one YouTube channel to a NETWORK, with a new channel called The Deep Dive. Hosted by Erik Voss, The Deep Dive is the destination for more in-depth media investigations. From full seasons of Marvel streaming shows to cult classic films, Erik will draw upon his 12+ years of media analysis to dig to the roots of the hidden agendas beneath every title. --What exactly *are* Easter Eggs, and how do they reveal a filmmaker's actual philosophy? --Do movie trailers LIE to viewers, and what are the psychological and ethical consequences of those marketing manipulations? --In what instances have studios deceptively updated the VFX for digital releases, and why were those changes made? --What were the original drafts of major films and series before they were changed in development or post-production, and would they have been more successful than the theatrical release? --Was every Marvel Phase 4 title a cry for help revealing the inner anxieties of the filmmaker? While New Rockstars will remain the home base on YouTube for Easter Eggs, theories, and nerdy news, with multiple daily videos hosted by Erik and his friends, The Deep Dive aims for a more curated viewing experience, with exclusively Erik's special feature formats: Deep-Dives: extended film analyses (weekly) Investigations: Research-intensive spotlights on media trends Live Breakdowns: Erik breaks down major news live, in real time The channel will launch on Friday, February 17, with 4+ pieces of premium content, and weekly or twice-weekly videos to follow throughout 2023. Yes, February 17 also just so happens to be the launch of Marvel Phase 5, and we absolutely have some fun things planned for Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania... but The Deep Dive will NOT exclusively be a Marvel channel. We're so excited to have this opportunity to take the plunge with you every week!
