Tanya in Red Alert 2 has everything she needs to completely dominate infantry. She combines an extreme rate of fire with enough raw damage to one-shot almost every infantry unit in the game, making engagements brutally one-sided. On top of that, her high movement speed allows her to easily kite enemies, reposition, chase down retreating units, or disengage when needed. In the right hands, she’s not just strong, she’s nearly untouchable.
However, in a real match, it’s actually hard to fully appreciate just how effective she is against infantry. Most players simply won’t throw infantry at Tanya in the first place, and even if they do, it’s rarely in large enough numbers to truly test her limits. Because of that, her full anti-infantry potential often goes unseen in standard gameplay.
So in this video, we’re going to put that to the test and see just how far Tanya can go when she’s up against infantry in larger numbers.
