It's not AI, it's HI (Human intelligence)

I created this VFX piece for Squid Game season 3 Thanks to @vfxfairy for helping with the modeling and cloth simulation for the Jersey. Just to clarify, I’m not against AI. There are many AI assisted tools that I currently use, like Motion capture, Rotoscoping, denoising, up-res'ing, paint outs etc and I see plenty of opportunity for more such integration into existing VFX workflows. That way we can still have 100% creative control but have a lot more ease with monotonous tasks. I really enjoy the craftsmanship behind any work of art and I feel like relying on Gen AI “tools” to create everything robs us of that satisfaction.
