Presenting a new live performance from @thomamusic, featuring songs from their new release "Leaving Cycles". The album is created in collaboration with James Waterman, inspired by Indonesian gamelan music, West African polyrhythms, and Latin percussion.
James brings these influences to the record, creating dialogue between synths and live percussion, in a conversation between man and machine.“
Thoma is the project of Benjamin Hill and Tristan de Liege, two childhood friends and life-long producers exploring their unique blend between jazz, world music, IDM, house, techno, and downtempo in a manner that drifts between the dancefloor and home listening.
