Here is my parody version of McFly's song 'Star Girl', called 'Starfish'. Enjoy! It would be super-duper-fabulous if you could share this around as YouTube is no longer doing that job for me it seems :S LYRICS: Hey, I'm singing a song about starfish Serenading my facts on guitar It's not something I do everyday But I've got a lot to say These pentaradial species From the sandy shore to the deep seas Somehow try to live their lives When they haven't got a brain Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo The superstars of the seashore Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Phylum: Echinoderm, Asteroid Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Yeah, a stellar invertebrate creature Fifteen hundred species Swimming with the fishies Show a little love for the starfish Hey, like all the vertebrates you can name us They started off with an anus As a little embryo 'Cos we're all deuterostomes But unlike their vertebrate brothers Their legs grow back with no problem And several can from just one hand Make a body fresh and new Like Doctor Whooo-ooo-ooo! Their powers of regeneration Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Aren't their only alien superskills Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Yeah, their water vascular system Lets them smell with their feet Make their blood from the sea So show a little love for the starfish In coral reefs They help biodiversity As a keystone species With your hungry ways You starfish rule the waves 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, woo!
