I won the Guardian competition!

I won! Ahhh! Thanks for voting me into the final :) And yes, I will take any opportunity to use melodramatic music! Plus, one of the judges, QI writer John Mitchinson said Dawkins should hire me as the next poster girl for evolution, so I'm rather pleased about that to say the least! The Guardian wrote an article about the final: http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2013/mar/21/student-film-competition-winner-announced And apologies, but I'm going to be crazy busy over the next two months with finals (very very important University exams) which I need to do well in to continue into my PhD, so I hope you won't mind too much if I focus on them rather than on video making. I should have the whole summer off afterwards to make videos if that makes you feel better! :) My winning video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRJnqJqBfsY And if you follow me on twitter, you can find out about things like this more quickly (you know how slow I am at making videos!): http://twitter.com/sallylepage/ http:sallylepage.co.uk/ Music: Also Sprach Zarathustra (a.k.a. 2001: Space Odyssey theme), Strauss, University of Chicago conducted by Barbara Schubert (Creative Commons)
