Very impromptu video all about grass snakes (Natrix natrix) because I'm lucky enough to have lovely neighbours who bring me snakes and the like! Whilst grass snakes are completely harmless, don't pick up a snake unless you can positively identify it. I've now got a Facebook page http://facebook.com/shedscience/ ! YouTube isn't showing all new videos in the subscriptions page (very annoying), so like or follow me on Facebook/Twitter to find out when I post new videos. In the UK, it is legal to capture grass snakes and keep them in captivity (not recommended) but illegal to harm, kill or trade them.
