I have a bike addiction and I wanted a new bike... My road bike is a little too stiff for some of the bumpy roads by me and my mountain bike is too heavy and slow. A gravel bike is the perfect midpoint between the two. I found out there's a lot of people out there modifying vintage rigid MTB's and turning them into gravel bikes. I found this Bianchi locally and thought it might be a fun challenge to restore it and modify it into the bike I wanted. It's a lower end Bianchi so nothing too fancy. I knew I wanted to try and fit 27.5" (650b) wheels because 26" are pretty small. Buying new wheels is too easy so I built my own. Obviously I had to go with drop bars as well because it's a gravel bike now. Everything worked a lot better than I expected except for the twist with the front fork (no spoilers)
