Mother's Here // Short Animated Film// 48hr Quickdraw Challenge

A few weekends ago i took part in Cardiff animation festivals Quick draw challenge. We had from 8pm Friday to 8PM Sunday to make a short animated film. Using the theme 'Childhood' provided at 8pm on Friday and a team. My team was just me and my sister Buzzbees who did the amazing backgrounds. It was such an interesting experience forcing myself to create a short film in that amount of time. I didn't have time to question myself or even have multiple sketch passes. I think it was on average an hour and a half for each shot? Most of the shots are on threes but a few twos and ones snuck in there in parts. The animation challenge was for all countries but I actually happen to live in Cardiff myself, and went to see it screened at the festival last weekend. Nothing beats seeing your work on the big screen, even if it is just a rushed piece like this!
