Hoi there, I’ll try to give you advice on how to avoid using External programs outside of blender but Krita is free. I highly recommend you download it or buy it on steam for dirt cheap. Trust me, it’s nice to have and so is cats. If you haven’t downloaded cat’s yet, you’re in big trouble
If you find your self sweating at the thought of texture painting your model, firstly, you’ll be fine. Anyone can do it. Because it’s the modern times and we have the internet. If you really want to just get PNG of skin and jeans, slap it on your model and call it a day. There’s nothing stopping you.
First let’s quickly go over some basic colouring techniques. No fancy lighting at this point ok.
If we just take a basic coloured sphere, and light it in the most basic manner. The highlights tend to be warmer and the shadows cooler. Typically yellower and bluer.
