If you’ve spent anytime anywhere during this year of 2022. You would have noticed that we are in the midst of multiple meltdowns world wide. Crypto is crashing, the Zuccverse is dying, Wars are ongoing, Elon musk, need I say more? And of course, The AI Takeover is getting expanentially worse and the artists are quickly de-stabilising.
Hoi there, I’m rainhet, welcome to the nightmare.
What is AI art?
AI art is any artwork created through the use of artificial intelligence.
There are many mechanisms for creating AI art.. and that’s where we stop reading wikipedia.
To put it simply, you type a string of words into a generator (into one of many different kinds of AI generators,) and it produces a random image based on a seed. Using the same string of words, and different seeds, different images can be produced, some better than others. It’s a bit like generating a random minecraft world if you know how that works.
With each iteration you can tell this generator what stuff looks good and what doesn’t. Then eventually with time, it’ll get better.
