When I first saw the movie in the cinema, there wasn’t really one particular melody that stayed in my head afterwards. Once again, I had the feeling that this is a soundtrack that doesn’t primarily live through memorable themes, but through its atmosphere, textures and its very distinctive sound world. But after listening to the score more closely, I started to discover several musical ideas that I really wanted to bring together on the piano. This arrangement is mainly based on the tracks "Odysseus", "Chasing the Escaping Sun", "Sirens" and "Ithaca". Rather than recreating just one piece, I tried to combine elements from all of them into one continuous piano version while preserving as much of the unique atmosphere of the original score as possible. I hope you enjoy my piano version of *The Odyssey* ! 🔥
