Pride FC was once upon a time the biggest MMA organization in the world.
In Part 1 of the Rise and Fall of Pride, we explore Prides roots in Japanese Pro Wrestling, the birth of Pride, and the madness of the Pride 2000 Grand Prix
A lot of the research for this video came from the book "Before a Fall: The History of Pride Fighting Championships" by Lee Daly and Eamonn Dalton. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Before-Fall-History-Fighting-Championships/dp/172635458X
