Mushroom Talk: Mushroom-Powered Synthesis: Chicken of the Woods Meets Eurorack Modular Synth

Welcome to a truly unique sonic adventure! In this mind-bending video, we dive into the unexplored realm of mycological music as we connect a Chicken of the Woods mushroom to a Eurorack modular synth, all through the magical world of bio data. Harnessing the fascinating phenomena of galvanic response and changes in electrical resistance, we'll show you how nature's biofeedback can be transformed into a mesmerizing symphony of sound. As our mushroom companion reacts to its environment, its electrical signals are converted into control voltage for the modular synth, leading to an otherworldly auditory experience. But we don't stop there! We take this mushroom-powered control voltage and channel it creatively to manipulate various parameters of the synth. Watch as we shift pitch, tweak timbre, shape amp envelopes, and even control effects like reverb and delay, all in real-time. The result is an ethereal, ever-evolving soundscape that blurs the lines between the biological and the technological. Join us on this sonic voyage that bridges the natural world with the synthetic, and discover the limitless possibilities of sound creation. Whether you're a seasoned synth enthusiast or a curious mycophile, this video will leave you in awe of the symbiotic harmony between nature and technology.
