I had never driven a Lotus before this day, but what a way to set that right! The Lotus Exige Cup 430 is the most extreme road-going car that the company makes, so to get a first taste of it around the Hethel test track was seriously life-affirming. That was quickly followed by a quick walk-around of Classic Team Lotus, a treasure trove of grand prix and title-winning Formula 1 cars from the company's history. What a day!
