Was Ser Arlan Lying About Being A Knight?
In a knight of the seven kingdoms we get many hints that Ser Duncan the Tall is probably lying about being a knight. We also have many parallels drawn between Dunk and Egg and Ser Arlan and younger Dunk. So is this another parallel? Was Ser Arlan lying about being a knight just like Dunk does? He would gain a lot of benefit from it and we never hear who it was that knighted Arlan of Pennytree. I don't personally have a firm opinion on one side or the other but I think it is one of those interesting questions raised by this series. What do you all think? Let me know in the comments
