The Battle Of The Trident In The Stage Play Is Wild (And I love It)

The Mad King Stage Play has shown us the tourney at Harrenhal as well as many key events of Roberts Rebellion and answered questions that ASOIAF fans have been asking for decades. The battle of the trident was shown to us and the way it went down was not at all what I expected and the more I think about how they handled it the more I think I love it. It offers a new twist on one of the most famous battles in Westeros and makes sense of why Robert Baratheon is still so haunted by his legendary battle with Rhaegar Targaryen.
