An Arya Stark Sequel Is In Early Development And GRRMs Problem With Sequels

It was revealed recently in an article by The Hollywood Reporter that there is a sequel to Game of Thrones in very early development which would include Arya Stark. The article also explains that George RR Martin has resisted the idea of sequels to Game of Thrones and I think his reason for this is a really good one. So would this Arya Stark sequel show work? I think there is actually a better option following another character who also sailed west of Westeros just like Arya did. Elissa Farman might be the better option for a show about sailing the sunset sea. But what do you all think?
