When the pressure of city life became too much, Nancy chose a completely different path. Her tiny home in the country has given her more peace, more freedom, fewer bills, and a life that feels deeply connected to nature. After years of stress, rental pressure and a hectic life in Sydney, Nancy knew something needed to change. Then, during lockdown, a serious heart attack became a major wake-up call, helping her see just how important it was to create a life with more time, calm and simplicity. In this week’s episode, we visit Nancy’s charming off-grid tiny home on a beautiful rural property outside Sydney, Australia. Surrounded by rolling hills, cows, kangaroos, wombats and kookaburras, her tiny house has become a peaceful country sanctuary and a powerful reminder that there is another way to live. Nancy’s home, affectionately named Tiny Tina Turner, was designed around simplicity, comfort and the things she loves most: plants, books, crystals, natural light, and views out over the countryside. At 8 metres long, this thoughtfully designed tiny house includes a ground-floor bedroom, a cosy elevated lounge, a practical central kitchen, a spacious bathroom, smart storage, solar power, rainwater collection and a composting toilet. After leaving behind the pressure of Sydney city life, Nancy has been able to reduce her overheads, cut back her working hours, and create a lifestyle where time, peace and personal wellbeing matter more than endless bills and stress. Her story is inspiring, honest and deeply relatable for anyone who has ever felt trapped by the pace of modern life. This tiny house tour is about much more than downsizing. It’s about choosing a different path, building a simpler life, and discovering how tiny house living can create more freedom, security, and joy. We hope you enjoy the tour of this beautiful off-grid tiny home in the country. ❤️ If you enjoy our show and would like to help support our work, please consider supporting us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/livingbig 🌟 Our Socials and Links: https://linktr.ee/livingbig 💡 Find out more about this tiny house and others on our website: https://www.livingbiginatinyhouse.com/ 🙏 Please subscribe for more videos on tiny houses, architecture, DIY, design, and sustainable, off-grid living.
