Has Haas F1 found Formula 1’s next big star? Rafael Câmara has officially signed for the 2027 F1 season, replacing Esteban Ocon and becoming one of the sport’s most exciting young prospects.
The 21-year-old Brazilian is already a Formula 3 champion, currently leads the 2026 Formula 2 Championship, and has impressed Haas during testing.
In this video, I look at Rafael Câmara’s F1 prospects, his age, his impressive junior racing career, why Haas have chosen him for 2027, and what we can expect from the team’s future driver line-up.
Could Rafael Câmara become the next big Brazilian star in Formula 1, and has Haas made the right decision?
