Crafting a canoe for my indie game! | Farewell North - Devlog #2

In this devlog entry we're going to go through the process of building a canoe for the game! We'll take a trip out to the Scottish National Museum in Edinburgh to get some inspiration, before modelling the canoe in Blender and hopping into Unity to write some code and implement the feature. Once the basics are all in place we'll use Audacity to create some realistic sound effects and add three particle systems to really sell the effect! Finally, I have a request for you: after watching the video, let me know down below if you prefer the idea of fully open world where you can hop in and out of your canoe anywhere, or a more restrictive (but better for level design) implementation where you can only get in and out of your canoe at docks scattered amongst the islands.
