Factory gameplay solver is written in Rust and communicates to the Godot front-end through godot-rust. Basically using Godot as a glorified render, physics, and audio engine. The factory game logic is handled separately. This could allow, for example, to run the factory tick logic on a separate thread. Since the communication layer is a very thin API sending / receiving messages, we can abstract away the internals on a completely separate thread and communicate through channels or something similar. Factory logic was ported / rewritten from the unity factory ECS game prototype. Godot and GDScript are very nice to use so far.
