For this holiday season, let’s see if we can use the power of air and Lego to generate electricity to power a small Christmas tree! This little Lego contraption consists of two main technologies: A pneumatic engine, which runs on compressed air, and a generator, which produces a small current when driven. In this video, we’ll use the Lego single-cylinder pneumatic engine to drive the Lego generator. The torque from the engine isn’t amazing, but let’s see if it can produce around a watt of power so that we can light the fairy lights on the Christmas tree. #lego #pneumatic #engine #generator #christmas
