What you’re looking at here is a teeny tiny Lego Tesla Coil of sorts. It’s called a 'slayer exciter' circuit, and it’s a very forgiving self-oscillating circuit that is known to scale down very well. Having made various larger slayers before with lego, I wanted to find out just how small I could make one. It does all of the things you'd expect a tiny slayer/Tesla coil to do, like wirelessly lighting fluorescent bulbs, and exciting gasses like neon. If you'd like to see how to make one, or to see a larger Lego one in action, here's a link: https://youtu.be/Y0a9PcIaCyU #lego #technic #electronics #electromagnetic
